Bethany Sphar, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, AOCNP, is a radiation oncology nurse practitioner at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. A native of New Orleans, she relocated to Texas in 2007 and pursued her undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees at UT Health Science Center in Houston. Beginning her career in inpatient psychiatric nursing, she transitioned to advanced practice nursing in oncology following her completion of the MD Anderson Post-Graduate APRN Fellowship in Oncology Nursing in 2019. Since then, Bethany has supported the brain, spine, and pediatric tumor service at the MD Anderson Proton Therapy Center.
