Kathryn (Katie) Newlin, RN, MSN, ANP-BC is a board certified nurse practitioner at Washington University In St. Louis. Katie has a long standing career in oncology. She began her healthcare profession in 2008, as a PCT on the medical oncology unit at Barnes Jewish Hospital. While working, she earned her BSN. She continued her profession on the inpatient oncology division where she cared for a general oncology patient population. She then obtained her MSN in 2014. Her first NP position began in the Division of Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery. She worked alongside a plastic surgeon whose focus was breast recon after mastectomy and lipo/lymphedema. After 2-years, she transferred back to oncology where she served on the inpatient NP team. . In 2020, she transferred to the outpatient setting. She continues her career as an outpatient breast cancer NP with Siteman Cancer Center/Wash U in St. Louis.
