Caitlin Treacy is a nurse practitioner with more than 12 years of experience. She received her BSN from Villanova University and her MS in the Adult Gerontology Acute Care NP program from New York University. She started her nurse practitioner career in the ICU at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center where she gained invaluable experience. In 2019, she became a founding member of the new APP-led Mobile Interventional Radiology team at MSKCC, performing bedside procedures throughout the institution. She has presented nationally on the implementation and impact of an APP-led bedside procedural; has developed institutional guidelines and standard operating procedures and has mentored and precepted numerous APPs in gaining bedside procedural competencies. Most recenty, she has joined the Symptom Care Clinic at MSK where she is managing patients with acute or urgent oncologic issues where she continues to mentor APPs in paracentesis.
